Our main farms are located just a few miles down the road from our custom-built, state-of-the-art cold-storage facility in rural Lewis County, Missouri. Our local team processes, packages, and ships our fresh frozen meat directly to you, ensuring every US Wellness Meats product is of the highest and freshest quality.

Our expert cold storage team includes Meat Manager Melvin Burkemper, the man behind every perfect cut of meat, General Manager Deric Simonson, who keeps the whole operation running smoothly, and Dock & Refrigeration Manager Drew Frese.

If you just can’t wait for Drew and his team to get your order out via FedEx, stop in and visit our new Grassland Market, where Manager Aron Knoche will help you find all your favorites in store. Opened in 2016, Grassland Market is our first retail location, and customers can explore all of our products in person.

Just down the road, our office and customer service team, including Tressa Johnston, Amanda Welker and Laura Logsdon, work tirelessly to answer your questions about products and orders, to share the latest farm and product news on social media and in our newsletter, and to keep our website updated with the latest information and news.

Of course, overseeing it all is our fearless, tireless leader John Wood. Since founding the company in 2000, John has continued to expand our business so we can meet customer demand, and he’s always looking for new ways to make US Wellness Meats better, whether through new products, more efficient processing and shipping, or better customer service. On top of that, he somehow manages to take care of his farm and animals, inspire every member our team, and build partnerships with likeminded farmers and businesses across the country.
