The Best Chicken Wings & Sweet Potato Wedges Recipe EVER!

In this episode of In the Kitchen, Mike prepares a special treat using US Wellness pasture-raised chicken wings. Add some sweet potato wedges to the plate and you have a meal even the pickiest eater will love. Not only is this a delicious meal, it’s also nutrient dense!

US Wellness Meats Shopping List: Chicken Wings

Serves: 4


3 lbs Chicken Wings
Sweet Potatoes (1-2 potatoes per person)
2 Tbsp Spicy Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
2 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp Pink Salt
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Unfortified Nutritional Yeast
2 tsp Oregano
2 tsp Rosemary
2 tsp Granulated Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Paprika
1/4 cup raw blue cheese crumbles
1/4 lemon for juice
2 Tbsp Labneh (Mediterranean Yogurt Cheese)
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar


1. Preheat oven to 450 deg F
2. Cut Sweet Potatoes into wedges and put into a big bowl.
3. Pat dry Chicken Wings and put into a big bowl.
4. Add 1 Tbsp or Dijon Mustard and 1 Tbsp of Tomato Paste to each bowl and toss each to coat wings and wedges thoroughly
5. Season Wings and Wedges. Add 1 tsp of Black Pepper, Salt, Cinnamon, Oregano, Rosemary, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Paprika to each bowl. Add 1/8 cup of Nutritional Yeast to each bowl.
6. Toss Wedges and Wings in their separate bowls to thoroughly coat.
7. Place wedges and wings in separate baking dishes and put in the oven at 450 deg F for approx. 40 minutes.
8. Remove from oven and serve with Blue Cheese Dressing.

Bonus Blue Cheese Dressing:
1. Add Blue Cheese Crumbles, Labneh, Apple Cider Vinegar, and 1 Tbsp water to a small bowl. Mix well and season to taste with Oregano, Rosemary, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper Powder, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder. Mix Thoroughly.
