Tamari Braised Short Ribs Recipe

Braised Short Ribs

Tamari braised ribs are a rich and savory dish that combines the deep umami of tamari with the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness of slow-braised beef short ribs. The ribs are seared to develop a flavorful crust, then simmered in a fragrant broth infused with garlic, ginger, and green onions. Tamari adds a bold, slightly sweet depth, while a touch of citrus balances the richness. The slow cooking process allows the meat to absorb the complex flavors, resulting in fall-off-the-bone perfection. Served with mashed cauliflower or a fresh herb gremolata, these ribs offer a satisfying fusion of comforting and refined flavors.
