Strip Set Executions

A strip set has two phases with 10 second rest between phases. Performing 8 reps of a standing biceps curl with a controlled rep speed will last about 35 seconds. Immediately reduce the weight load by 15% and do 8 more reps with the controlled rep speed to complete the strip set. The weight load should be very challenging and require you to stop one rep short of failure on each phase of the strip set. A couple warm up sets can help you establish the right weight load to use with proper form. There should be a gradual increase in weight load over the course of a 6 week training program phase which further boosts fat burning hormones.
