These nourishing grass-fed beef liverwurst meatballs are a powerhouse postpartum snack, designed to replenish and heal after birth. Nourishing Liverwurst Meatballs

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

US Wellness Meats Shopping List: Grass-fed Ground Beef | Liverwurst | Tallow 

Ingredients:

  • 1lb Grass-fed ground beef
  • 1lb Grass-fed beef liverwurst
  • ½ Tsp sea salt
  • 1 Tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp tallow
  • 2 Cups arugula
Liverwurst

Instructions:

  1. Spoon 3 tbsp of tallow into a heated cast-iron skillet on medium heat.
  2. Add all ingredients into a bowl and create meatball shapes by rolling each ball by hand.
  3. Place the meatballs in the cast-iron skillet and cook until golden brown on each side.
  4. Turn each meatball over to the other side until all sides are golden.
  5. Place a lid on the skillet and lower the heat to medium-low.
  6. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the meat thermometer reaches 169 degrees F.
  7. Allow to cool and plate on a bed of arugula.

Notes:
Want to freeze? Simply make a batch and throw it in the freezer for a quick snack. A good food vacuum sealer works wonders for this.
