Mexican – Italian Fusion Tacos Recipe

Ingredients
For the Tortillas
@betterbatterflour pizza mix follow directions
For the Filling
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 lb @uswellnessmeats ground meat (beef, pork, or mix)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt (to taste)
- ½ tsp chili flakes (adjust for heat)
- ¼ cup @antoniocarlosauce basil sauce
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Make the Tortillas
- In a bowl, mix @betterbatterflour pizza mix .
- Follow directions.
- Divide into golf ball–sized portions, then press flat with a tortilla press.
- Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Cook each tortilla 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown spots form. Keep warm in a towel.
- Prepare the Filling
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté diced green pepper and onion for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add @uswellnessmeats ground meat. Cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, black pepper, white pepper, paprika, sea salt, and chili flakes.
- Mix in ¼ cup @antoniocarlosauce basil sauce.
- Add ½ cup water and simmer 8–10 minutes until reduced to a thick, spreadable taco meat.
- Assemble the Tacos
- Using @uswellnessmeats cheese
- Spoon the filling into fresh tortillas.
- Garnish with your favorite taco toppings—think fresh basil, mozzarella, salsa, avocado, or even a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra Italian flair.
