Tell us about yourself:
I am an author, recipe creator, grandmother, and health coach. I particularly love spending time with my family. I also volunteer my time as an admin in a large migraine group on Facebook, helping others learn a protocol that gave me my life back.
How did you get involved in cooking?
It was through my volunteer work that my love and creativity for cooking was amplified. I began creating recipes to fit into the parameters of the protocol. And, they were very well received, so that gave me motivation to continue.
Describe your cooking style:
I cook and eat very simply. Cheeseburgers, steak, eggs, bacon, and full fat dairy. I’m a carnivore.
How did you learn of grassland meats?
I first learned of USWM about seven years ago when I was looking for sustainable grassfed meats that could be delivered to me.
What is your favorite recipe featuring grass land meats?
It has to be my gyros.
You’re stranded on a desert island with top five ingredients and kitchen tool:
Beef tallow
Beef tenderloin roast
Beef bologna
Ground lamb
Pork belly
My trusty cast iron Dutch oven
Best Cooking tip/ piece of advice:
Place a flat damp paper towel under cutting boards before use to prevent slipping.
