IN THE KITCHEN WITH LEAH DRUMHELLER
Tell us about yourself:
I am a foodie at heart and enjoy crafting gluten-free recipes inspired by my loved ones. My passion for cooking started at a young age as a creative outlet and grew into a mission to create meals that never compromise on taste, texture, or artistry. When I’m not creating gluten free goodness, you can find me reading a good book, hitting up the gym with my husband, or cozied up on the couch watching football!
How did you get involved in cooking?
My aunts bought me a cookbook for my sixth birthday and truthfully, I’ve never looked back! I took an even greater interest in it once I received my gluten free diagnosis, desperately hoping to create my favorite meals in a new way!
Describe your cooking style:
The goal for any recipes I create is for them to be nourishing, accessible, and tasty! Many of my recipes are protein focused, with an emphasis on providing a balanced plate. I also want my recipes to feel accessible – cooking is daunting enough for many people and I want to make sure my recipes are affordable and quick to make.
How did you learn about grass-fed meats?
My father-in-law was actually the first person to get me interested in grass-fed beef! It is something he has been passionate about for his health and I learned about and truly tasted the difference because of him!
What is your favorite recipe featuring grass-fed meat?
Call me basic, but there is nothing better than a juicy grass-fed beef burger! Gluten Free Pizza Burgers
