Tell us about yourself:

Hi, my name is Chris. I am a proud father of 3 beautiful children and happily married to my soulmate and love of my life. God has blessed me with so many wonderful things including family, health, companionship, love, happiness, passion, peace and opportunity along with so many wonderful experiences, memories and relationships.

As a kid growing up I loved being in the kitchen, learning to cook, experimenting, playing with kitchen gadgets, baking with my grandmother Mary, and eating everything we made. I got my start in the food industry when I was fifteen years old working at Montgomery Inn, a famous rib house in Cincinnati, OH run by the Gregory family and the Jack Nicklaus Sports Center, home to the Grizzly, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus design-inspired golf course. I worked as a line cook serving thousands of golfers that played there every year in the 1980s and 90s.

After graduating college and trying to find a career in the golf industry, I moved out west to San Francisco and joined SONY PLAYSTATION, which launched my career in video games. Having spent the past 27 years publishing and marketing video games, I’ve hung up my gaming controller and returned to my roots.

Over the course of the last three years I have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Sjögren’s Disease, Raynaud’s Syndrome and Long COVID. Searching for answers I turned to food, nutrition, a can-do attitude and crafted an all-new premium bone broth to heal my body. My passion now fuels my purpose to bring better food choices to people starting with one of the most original foods – bone broth.

When our family needed to heal after the pandemic I turned to nutrition as our path forward. My new mantra, healing from the inside out, fueled my purpose and passion starting with a gut-to-bloodstream approach. After connecting with a holistic health, nutrition and fitness expert, I began experimenting with and handcrafting the cleanest bone broth possible. I worked tirelessly every night for two years formulating the perfect recipe thus forming the foundation for our healing evolution.

ANCESTRAL FUEL BONE BROTH is born from this story. A rich, full-flavored, nutritional powerhouse bone broth crafted using the cleanest, finest whole food ingredients. How did you get involved in cooking?

Out of need. I needed to start working at a very young age to make money, support myself and my mom. During my first trip to Rome, Italy for my 20 year anniversary I was inspired to take it to the next level.

Clean, with purpose, every meal/dish crafted to perfection, simple and straightforward.

How did you learn about grass-fed meats?

Danny Stierli, a dear friend, holistic health coach, nutritionist and strategic partner.

What is your favorite recipe featuring grass-fed meat?

100% Grass-fed picanha, marinated in EVOO and dosed with Redmond Real Salt Garlic Salt. Seared on the BBQ and finished to a juicy medium rare. Pay attention to how you slice the cuts. Preparation is key. Simple, purposeful and straightforward.

It’s never too late. I am re-inventing myself at 54 years old and I haven’t been this passionate or excited for something since 1998.
