Hello my name is Bill and I am your average everyday home cook. I create content with the intent to inspire delicious and nutritious home cooked meals. You’re health is important so don’t diet. Eat real food.
How did you get involved in cooking?
I began cooking at a very early age, growing up overseas and learning from my mom who delivered home cooked meals on a daily basis.
Describe your cooking style:
My cooking style is mostly Americana with French and Italian influences. I am kind of all over the place.
How did you learn about grass-fed meats?
I have always been a fan of grass fed meats, as far as I am concerned there is no other alternative
What is your favorite recipe featuring grass-fed meat?
My favorite recipe for grass fed meat is probably my smash burger recipe!
You’re stranded on a desert island; luckily, you’re stranded with your top 5 ingredients and one must-have kitchen tool:
I am stranded on a desert island with salt, pepper, bulb of garlic, a whole chicken, sourdough bread, and my chefs knife.
Best cooking secret/tip/piece of advice you’ve learned:
Temp your dough to determine the length of the fermentation process. Use cold water when rinsing melted cheese off of plates and bowls. Never be afraid to try something new.
What’s your favorite quote/song for culinary inspiration (if any)?
My favorite song for culinary inspiration is “This Must Be the Place” by the Talking Heads. Always reminds me how being at home is the greatest place
