Bison and Pork Sausage in Marinara with Pasta

US Wellness Meats Shopping List: Bison Stew Meat (or Bison Roast to dice, or Ground Bison), Pork kabobs (or Pork Roast to dice, or Ground Pork), Mozzarella Cheese
Ingredients:
- 6 oz Bison and Pork Sausage (see my recipe)
- 1/2 whole large green pepper, diced
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 4 ounces mushrooms, 1/4 cut
- 1/2 yellow bell tomatoes
- 3 tbls olive oil
- 3 tbs cracked black pepper
- 1 tbs salt
- 1 tbs oregano
- 1 tbs basil
- 1 tbs granulated garlic
Instructions:
- Mix the ingredients together and place them in the broiler for approximately 15 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through.
- Remove the sausage from the broiler and add 12 ounces of marinara sauce.
- Place back into the broiler until hot, approximately 10 minutes.
- Serve on a bed of your choice of cooked pasta and top with raw and aged shredded mozzarella cheese.
