Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

USWM Shopping List: Stir Fry Beef

Ingredients

  • 1lb US Wellness Meats stir fry beef
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Heat up a large skillet over high heat and add the vegetable oil. Add the beef and toss until browned on the outside. Remove, reduce the heat to med/low. Add the pepper and broccoli. Cook for 5-8 minutes. Add the beef back in. In a bowl mix together the water, ginger, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, soy, and cornstarch. Mix until smooth and pour over the mix. The sauce will thicken quickly. Once thickened, serve with rice. Enjoy!
