We’re back In the Kitchen with Mike Loayza. Actually, we’re by the pool as Mike prepares US Wellness Meats Baby Back Ribs for a tasty late summer treat. This simple recipe takes very little time to prepare but will make your mouth water in anticipation. Add to this a delightful cole slaw and you have a truly spectacular meal.

US Wellness Meats Shopping List: Pork Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients
Baby Back Ribs:
Rack of Baby Back Ribs – 1.65 lbs
2-3 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 c mango nectar
1/4 c water
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp Calabrian chili powder
Cole Slaw:
1 head of cabbage chopped
2 ripe tomatoes chopped
1/2 onion chopped
1 lemon for fresh squeezed juice
1 heaping tbsp of mayo
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 c Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
Baby Back Ribs
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place ribs in baking large baking dish.
- Add soy sauce, mango nectar, and water.
- Sprinkle dry seasonings on top of ribs (garlic powder, oregano, pepper, salt, and chili powder)
- Cover the baking dish with parchment paper and aluminum foil on top.
- Place covered dish in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, uncover dish and turn oven to broil for about 4 minutes or until sauce starts to caramelize. Watch closely so they don’t burn.
- Remove from oven and serve with cole slaw.
Cole Slaw:
- Chop cabbage, tomatoes, onion and place in large mixing bowl.
- Squeeze juice from fresh lemon into the bowl.
- Mix in heaping tablespoon of mayo.
- Add salt, oregano and mix thoroughly.
- Mix Balsamic Vinegar and Apple Cider Vinegar, add to bowl and mix.
- Serve with Baby Back Ribs and ENJOY!
